Product Designer
About the Role
As a Product Designer at Storecode, you will bridge the gap between abstract requirements and pixel-perfect reality. We don't view design as just 'skinning' an app; it is how the product works. You will be embedded in a cross-functional squad and work side-by-side with engineers from Day 1. We expect you to be fluent in Figma variables, prototyping, and the constraints of the web platform (you should know what a `div` is).
About the Team
Our Design team is small but influential. We believe in 'systematic creativity'—using our robust design system to move fast while carving out time for deep exploration on novel interactions. We critique each other’s work weekly and value honest, direct feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes in Figma.
- Maintain and evolve the Storecode Design System.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.
- Work closely with engineers to ensure implementation matches design intent.
- Advocate for accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) across all products.
Requirements
- Portfolio demonstrating strong UI/UX skills and systematic thinking.
- 3+ years of experience designing complex web applications (SaaS preferred).
- Proficiency in Figma (Auto Layout, Variables, Components).
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is highly desirable.
- Ability to articulate design decisions to stakeholders clearly.
